Card it: AI-powered debate card searcher
Build, tag and organize evidence cards in seconds. Search a shared library of debate cards from public case archives, or clip your own.
About Card it
Card it is a debate card search engine. Describe an argument, a link, an impact or an author, and it returns matching evidence cards from public case archives, with each card’s tag and citation so you can judge quality quickly.
The library covers Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas and policy, including a multi-year archive and recent 2026-27 sets. Free accounts search a subset of datasets; Card it Premium and Debate it All unlock the complete library and weekly updates after tournament weekends.
As a debate card finder, Card it searches by meaning, not just exact words. Type a full claim, such as “data center moratorium raises electricity prices,” and it returns cards that make that argument even when they use different wording. It hides cards arguing the opposite side of your search, and one click shows them again.
Filter results by event, season or topic with the dataset chips above the results. Open any result to read the tag, cite and highlighted text exactly as it was cut, copy it with formatting into Verbatim or Google Docs, or download the original disclosed file the card came from.
Card it also includes Block it, a repository of prewritten blocks and responses for current topics, and it is built into Flow it, so you can search for a card and drop it straight into your flow during a round.

What is the best debate card finder?
Look for a card finder that searches by argument across many teams’ disclosed files and shows the tag and cite for each result. Card it does both for PF, LD and policy, with 10 years of cards.
How do I find a debate card for a specific argument?
Type the claim you need as a full sentence, filter to your event and season, then open the results to compare tags and cites. Read the original source before you use a card in a round.

Card it searches evidence teams have disclosed in public case archives. Always read the original source and check that the tag matches the card before you read it in a round.
How often is Card it updated?
Premium and Debate it All members get new cards weekly, after every tournament weekend.
Can I add my own cards?
Yes. You can clip your own evidence alongside the shared library.
